Puppies

Do you have a new puppy in your life? Join our Puppy FUNdamentals, an 8-week program designed to teach you and your puppy important foundational skills. Or, take advantage of our bespoke Puppy Preparation Package,  helping you prepare for your puppy’s homecoming and supporting you through those early months of puppy parenthood.

Progression

Afterward, you can continue your journey with the IMDT Partnership Grades 1 to 6, earning rosettes as your dog progresses and thrives.

A Breed-Specific Approach

Every dog has its day—and its DNA! Whilst every dog is unique, at Puppy Power we can tailor training to the various needs and drives common to different breed types.

Breed-specific training is all about tapping into the natural talents and instincts your furry friend was born with. Whether it’s channeling your Border Collie’s boundless energy into herding games, indulging your Beagle’s expert nose with scent-tracking games or giving your Labrador the chance to live out their retriever dreams through gundog games, this approach celebrates what makes each breed unique. Think of it as helping your dog do what they were literally born to do—and having a blast together while you’re at it!

Fun and Games

For those seeking a fun hobby with their dog, we offer a variety of activities: Scent Detection, Mantrailing, Trail Hunt International, Find my Keys,  Active Search and Retrieve, and Open Search – the Search and Rescue Game. We also offer Gundog Games for gundog breed dogs, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

Your Instructor

Hayley, an IMDT-qualified trainer, is also an Easy Peasy Puppy Squeezy Instructor and an Enigma Canine Trusted Instructor.

At Puppy Power, we only use positive reinforcement and force-free training techniques to ensure a happy, healthy learning experience for both you and your dog.

Humble Beginnings

Hayley’s bond with dogs began at an early age, as you can see in this cherished memory with her first loyal companion, Old Man Jack. At just three years old, Hayley loved nothing more than transforming into a superhero with her trusty sidekick Jack by her side. Together, they patrolled the garden—cape (crafted from Mam’s old towel) fluttering in the wind—on a mission to safeguard the resident bunnies, chickens, ducks, snails, and worms from imagined perils lurking nearby!
